In 1908, the 7th Earl Beauchamp of Madresfield gave a piece of land to the village. The purpose was for a building to be erected and used as a Working Mens Club. This was built by the men of the village and run as a men's only club until the late 1970s, when Women were allowed in. Many long standing families of the village have helped to keep The Callow End Club running as a member's club.

Our Funding
Being a member's club, we rely entirely on you, the members and fundraising events to enure that there is enough money in the pot to keep the club in good repair, the lights on, and beer behind the bar.
Our partners (see below), our sports teams, members attending our events, listening to live music, and buying a pint all help us with this mission. Our committee, who all volunteer their time free of charge, then decide where this money needs to be spent to keep a building of this age at it's best.
If you'd like more information on how our funding works, where it is spent, or if you have ideas on how to help your Callow End Club. Please either approach a committee member or attend our yearly AGM where we have all of this detail for you to see.
